Remuneration:
This is a 10-month renewable position (with potential option to work summers as needed) and includes a stipend of $1,400.00 per month, medical coverage, and 10 credits per semester (at minimal cost). Professional development funds for conference attendance may also be available. The Graduate Assistant – Leadership & Programming will work an average of 20 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications:
To be eligible for an assistantship, students must be admitted to a degree-granting program and be in good academic standing. The students must maintain an overall graduate studies GPA of at least 3.00 and must be continuously enrolled in at least 6 graduate level credits throughout the duration of the assistantship.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous residence life experience and/or pursuing graduate study in Educational Leadership program with Higher Education Administration emphasis. Experience working with leadership development or student organizations. Experience in graphic arts, web design and/or video editing.
Anticipated Start Date: July 16, 2012 (negotiable)
