Northern Rap would like to start a tradition of a yearly award for the College/University who displays the most “Spirit”. We have outlined the categories that will win you points towards the Honorary Spirit Award represented by the “Spirit Stick”. Please read the information below to familiarize your staff with the opportunities to win points in order to take home this award.

At the end of the conference, one lucky college/university will be going home with the Spirit Stick. This Institution will have the right to decorate a portion of the stick and be given a monetary figure to celebrate with their staff. (The number of staff members of the college/university will determine the amount of money given). This Staff will keep the spirit stick till the 2004 NRAP Conference where the Spirit Stick will be award again to the “Most Spirited”.

Spirit Stick (Perpetual Award)

-Present a Program and receive points
-Top 5 (MVP Category) will receive extra points
-Donations for the conference charity will earn points
-Helping Out ~ Volunteering will earn points
-A professional staff member volunteering to host a Round Table will earn points.
-Design a 3’ x 6’ Banner ~ Most Creative and Originality, References to NRAP’s theme, descriptiveness of school and overall appearance of banner will be judged and points allotted.
-Dress to Impress ~ Show your college colors, NRAP gear, or Halloween Spirits for points.
