Welcome to WACE 2012
The staff at Cal-Poly Pomona and the University of Redlands are thrilled to be your hosts for the WACUHO Annual Conference and Exposition at the Sheraton Fairplex Hotel and Conference Center on April 1-4, 2012. This year's conference theme, "Redefining Basics: WACUHO at the Fair", reflects our desire as an organization to focus on what really matters in our work and in the Association. With the development of our new WACUHO Strategic Plan, we have redefined the basic foundations of our association: professional competency, resources, meaningful connections, leadership development, and volunteer service. Reflecting this in our conference theme means a focus on how to be really good at the work we do and how to find satisfaction and balance within that very important work. WACUHO is a unique family that can have fun together and learn from each other, and we want to strike that balance with this conference.
Please know that the many spirited committee volunteers have been busy planning since May 2011 so that we will all have many opportunities to explore the fair environment at WACE 2012. When you explore this web site you'll find all the information you need to plan and enrich your conference experience. It is our intention to make the annual conference website a living document providing you with the latest updates as we approach the start of the conference on Sunday, April 1st (No Foolin'!)
Please contact the annual conference chairs if we can provide you with any additional information. All the annual conference committee members plus the staffs of our host institutions are here to answer any questions you may have.
